New Laptop after 10 years

Buying help

I have been using my HP laptop for the past 10 years. However, I think it's time to change since there's already a battery problem, hinge problem, and well, just feel like it's already old enough to carry the load of life :") (it has 8 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD).

I have seen a few reviews and everyone's saying Lenovo Thinkpad T-series or P-series, but they are simply out of my budget. Since now I start working and get a company laptop, I dont think it's wise to buy an all-rounder laptop. My daily use for my (new) laptop would be around taking online courses, maybe games, or as a substitute if I travel and I dont want to bring 2 laptops --personal and office laptop.

Does anyone have insight into this? Thank you!!
