Rope Exploit?

Just watched the dev short where it was stated that some sort of "rope storage exploit" was re-added in the game. Anyone here knows what that is? I usually never use any type of exploits but the rope achievement is the last one I need and it is driving me mad so I am asking in case it helps. Tried Googling it but there is nothing.
