My friend and I were planning to go out and explore some place in Delhi when we had fewer classes in college.
On Monday, we only had a lecture for our SEC class. First, we thought of going to the Qutub Minar, but I refused. So, she suggested we go to the Lal Qila.
We went to the Lal Qila, and after exiting the metro station, she took me to the Chandni Chowk market. Since she's from Delhi, she showed me the shops she used to visit in her childhood, like the stationery store and action figure shops. I found everything too expensive, so I just bought a mechanical pencil, and she bought some decorative accessories.

After wandering around the market, she took me to the Red Fort. Unfortunately, we found out it was closed on Monday! So, we headed back to the metro station and checked some museums to visit, but most of them were also closed on Monday.
Finally, we decided to go to Jantar Mantar and changed to the yellow line.

I was getting hungry and dehydrated from walking around the market, so she offered me her lunch - some delicious white sauce pasta! I started eating it in the metro, and a kind uncle /s) nearby kept staring at us. Looking at his face, he seemed like he'd gotten beaten by his wife again!
When his station arrived, he said to a lady beside us, "Kya aapco pata hai Eating izn't allowed in the metro!☝️🤓" #Top10interestingfacts
(I know the rule, but I think it's for people who litter in metro. It was lunch, and it was one of the best things I'd ever eaten! And I could not stop myself)
Uncle, you could've told us directly instead of seeking validation from others!

When we reached Patel Chowk, I realized, "Oh, it's a museum!" (And I started making fun of it cause once I saw a poster of metro museum. I thought It will have some of metros our patriotic delhities used in WW1 like could have put a dummy there like we had in Vishwavidyalaya metro station 🙉)

We then headed to Jantar Mantar, taking a wrong turn initially, but ghumte ghumte eventually pahuch gye.
I was surprised to see how much smaller it looked compared to my childhood visit. Sukad gaya bechara 😢
I was more The other buildings around Jantar Mantar, especially the brutalist architectures in Connaught Place, caught my attention - I love brutalism!

Waise mereko toh last me maza hi aaya ticket paise bhi usi ne diye the phir humne metro me bhi chijji khayi👽

Lal Qila gye sur popat ho gya 🤪
