SSS Foundation Standard Documentation System

CLASS

ALPHA (α)

Anomalies that are safe and easy to contain.

BETA (β)

Anomalies that require more resources for full containment, or whose containment is not always reliable.

GAMMA (γ)

Anomalies that are extremely difficult or impossible to contain consistently and reliably. Containment procedures are often extensive and complex.

DELTA (δ)

Anomalies that are theoretically containable, but are better left uncontained for a specific reason.

OMEGA (ω)

Anomalies that cannot be contained, are predicted to imminently breach containment, or are in a similar scenario. Typically associated with world-ending threats.

EPSILON (ε)

Anomalies that no longer exhibit anomalous properties, either due to destruction, deactivation, or the cessation of the anomaly's effects.

ZETA (ζ)

Anomalies previously considered anomalous, but whose effects are now fully explained by mainstream science or proven to be non-anomalous.

ANOMALY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (ACS)

[DISTURBANCE CLASS]

(EASY)

Disturbance Scale: Minimal to none. Characteristics:Affects only a single individual or is inert. Foundation Handling:Very easy to clean up or cover up.

(NORMAL)

Disturbance Scale: Localized to a small group of people. Characteristics:Affects several individuals but does not spread far. Foundation Handling:Relatively simple to neutralize.

(HARD)

Disturbance Scale: City-sized or equivalent population. Characteristics:Can spread at a concerning rate. Foundation Handling:Quite difficult to neutralize.

(INSANE)

Disturbance Scale: From large metropolitan areas to entire countries or the world. Characteristics:Spreads rapidly and is difficult to manage due to scale/power. Foundation Handling:Extremely difficult to neutralize.

(EXTREME)

Disturbance Scale: The entire world to the universe. Characteristics:Threatens or has completely breached secrecy protocols. Foundation Handling:The Foundation essentially "declares war" to neutralize it.

(NIGHTMARE)

Disturbance Scale: Total or unlimited. Characteristics:Unknown. Foundation Handling:Resigned.

[RISK CLASS]

NOTICE: Effects are almost none to mild. Not harmful to nearby individuals.

CAUTION: Effects are mild to moderate. Can cause minor harm.

WARNING: Effects are moderate to significant. Poses a moderate hazard.

DANGER: Effects are significant to extreme. Poses a major hazard.

CRITICAL: Effects are instant or extremely severe. Death is highly likely and recovery is impossible.

[THREAT LEVELS]

GREEN: Not harmful when handled correctly.

YELLOW: Dangerous but easy to re-contain.

RED: Highly unpredictable and destructive; a breach could become a high-priority scenario.

BLUE: Possesses the capacity for global-scale destruction.

PURPLE: Destruction of the universe itself.

STAFF TITLES

RESEARCHER: Conducts scientific research on anomalies.

CONTAINMENT SPECIALIST: Designs and maintains procedures for containing anomalies.

SECURITY OFFICER: Guards the physical and informational security of a site.

FIELD AGENT: Investigates reports of anomalous activity in the community.

MOBILE TASK FORCE: Member of an elite unit assigned to special missions, such as handling anomaly breaches.

SITE EXECUTIVE: The highest-ranking head of a Foundation facility.

THE 12 COUNCIL: The 12 individuals forming the highest leadership of the Foundation.

FOUNDER: The founder of the Search, Secure, Shelter foundation itself.

SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVELS

LEVEL 0 (Official Use Only): No access to anomalous information. Administrative, logistical, or janitorial staff at facilities without anomaly containment.

LEVEL 1 (Very Restricted): Works around, but does not directly interact with anomalies. May handle some sensitive data.

LEVEL 2 (Restricted): Direct access to information regarding contained anomalies. Most Researchers, Field Agents, and Containment Specialists.

LEVEL 3 (Confidential): In-depth data on recovery, sources, and long-term planning for anomalies. Senior Researchers, Project Managers, Tactical Response Officers, and MTF Operatives.

LEVEL 4 (Top Secret): Site or regional-level intelligence and long-term strategic data. Site Executives, Security Executives, MTF Commanders.

LEVEL 5 (All Contents): Virtually unlimited access to all Foundation data. The Founder and The 12 Council Members.

CLASS PRIORITY

CLASS S (Founder): The Founder of the foundation must never be near anomalies, has the highest level of protection and security. In any situation, prioritize the Founder as an absolute imperative.

CLASS A (The 12 Council): The 12 Council. They must not be near anomalies and have a high-level evacuation protocol.

CLASS B (Essential Personnel): Staff essential to site operations, such as System Administrators. They are evacuated first during emergencies.

CLASS C (Frontline): The majority of staff at containment sites, such as Researchers and Security Officers. They have direct access to anomalies and must follow specific evacuation orders.

CLASS D (Expendable Personnel): Used for high-risk tasks with anomalies. Typically drawn from convicts. Emergency protocols for them are often "termination."
