Have any of you been over attached to music from your younger years?

I have experienced this phase sometimes and have found it difficult to open my ears to newer stuff because it feels like I am betraying a musical identity that I have lived with for so long. The thought of not enjoying the music that j do now and finding it corny does scare me lol.
