Why do all their apartments have hotel style “no smoking” signs inside their doorway? I’ve never seen that and I rented in Hoboken back then.

I would guess they were maybe being put up in a long term stay hotel like a Residence Inn or Hyatt House, but the walls are painted and that was likely out of budget.

Probably rented studio space next to Alexis in Hoboken to stage scenes?
