Best electric razor to deal with flat hairs and hard to shave areas?
I was considering the 3 razors below because they are the top of the line:
-
Philips Norelco i9000 Prestige Ultra
-
Series 9 PRO+ Electric Shaver with PowerCase, 6-in-1 SmartCare Center, ProComfort Head, 9599cc
-
Panasonic arc6
I had the previous models of each razor (minus Panasonic) and while they were pretty good, it annoyed me that no matter what, there would always be hairs that wouldn’t shave even after I went over the area multiple times; and patches of hairs even though I went over the area (notably under the neck and on the left and right bottom sides of my cheek bone).
The Phillips one caused no irritation and cuts, and was great for shaving shorter hairs (stubble) but since it was rotary it was annoying going over the same hair over and over again and it wouldn’t cut it. The braun one was better in the sense that it would mow down longer hairs a lot easier, but was more prone to causing irritation. But its issue was still leaving 1-2 random hairs and mainly leaving little patches of hair with different lengths.
Since i tried two of the big 3, I was considering trying Panasonics arc 6 this time (since it’s the only brand I haven’t tried yet). It has gotten good reviews and even has double “flat” shavers to try and get more flat lying hairs. But since Braun and Phillips have released their newer ones recently, I was wondering which one would be the best to get out of the 3 I mentioned, to tackle flat lying hairs and not leave small patches of hair. Phillips newest razor is said to give the closest shave ever and even won an award, but I am not sure if it still has the same issues as its predecessor. Because I don’t wanna spend all that money just to end up with the same issue.
I am really tempted to try Panasonic especially since they have 2 flat lying cutters and a bunch of foil cutters. Or even buying that weird mini palm sized one they just released to get an idea of how good their blades are. But of course it could just be all marketing talk and not actually useful. So to those of you who have tried the big 3, which one would you recommend? Any help is appreciated thank you!
