Are you guys really thinking in images? And if so how does that work?

When I think its almost never in images, and even when it is its not visual. Its more like understanding the vague discription of an object but in my minds. Like when you look at an apple and your Brain understands "This is an apple". That sensation of "This is an apple" but no actual image crossing my mind. When I think its almost exclusively in a 3rd person dialog or a monolog. Its not like there are people/personalities in my head but more like I work out ideas through conversations with disembodied voices that are all me.

So when you guys "Think in images" do you actually See it? Or is it like the implication of an image.
