Hey, just wondering, is this something I should be rushing to worry about?

I have a 9 month old Cattledog. She bit a extension chord that was plugged in, roughly 240v I *think*. She only JUST damaged the chord, I looked at it and nothing was fully cut through. In fact, I didnt even see *where* the damage was, theres no major signs of breakage.

She did yelp and drop it. I didnt realise what she did and picked it up and reflexivly threw it. Then I unplugged it and followed her out to the kitchen where she had run to hide in.

I checked her mouth. No signs of burns or redness or anything. Her eyes look fine. She *was* panting but its 35c here and the aircons are only getting the house to 25c with high humidity so its still kinda hot here. She didnt seem too wonky, but hard to tell as she hurt her foot recently and is still limping(her foot is okay, just sore.)

Will be checking on her again in 30 mins.

Shes hiding at the moment but otherwise seems fine. Refuses to come back near the front door. She did come out to try and play fight with her sister when I came out 10 mins later to check on her.

Should I be rushing to ask a vet for help right now? How long can I leave it if so? Its currently 7pm and I live an hour from the nearest clinic, we have a newborn in the household who we would have to take with us.

Attached is image of the chord damage. I HAVE sent a message to our vet but no response.

I am in Australia, and I do not drive - someone else in the household does.

Dog bit through chord- is this emergency??
