What is the relationship between Eunice and Howard in the Deanverse?

OPINION / DISCUSSION

So, one of the new reuploads is of the old Pyramid Plasma Restored Footage video, which is credited to 'Howard and Eunice Melrose'. Now, I know the context is that during Season 2 the never-seen Eunice was meant to be Howard's actual wife, and was later soft-retconned/recontextualised to be a chance encounter Howard had with a stranger once in the 60s. But now that both GoldenGateGirl and restored_footage.mp4 co-exist in the canon, what is 'Eunice Melrose' supposed to mean? If Eunice is dead in the Deanverse then Howard is pretending she's his wife post-mortem, which makes him a creep, and if Eunice is alive in the Deanverse then she married someone who to our knowledge she met when he was 18 and she was in at least her late 30s, which makes her even more of a creep, right? I suppose the two charitable interpretations would be that in the Deanverse Eunice met Howard a significant number of years later so that the age gap was less of an issue, or that Eunice was born in a radically different year in the Deanverse. (Or as one comment suggests, an even more radical change where Eunice is Howard's sister in the Deanverse rather than James Dean's, but I highly doubt that.)

And yes, of course I know Eve probably didn't think of this. Just wondering how you would reconcile it.
