After finishing the anime I started reading the manga. Now at chapter 25 and the pacing is way better

Not only the pacing, the anime also missed out on the very funny moments. Like Onizuka's reaction to the cult members and UFO weirdos. Idk why, but its just hilarious to see Onizuka interacting with them.
