Help with color mixing
Hello! Got started with acrylics after years. I tried learning some color theory and got an idea about using primaries and knowing color biases. I had a random 18 color palette of acrylics that I used. I can’t seem to get the colors right. I know the highlight colors were too cool. None of the colors I’m mixing seem to be as bright and saturated as the reference photo. I really like the way light has intensified the colors in the photo, so I want to mimic that in my own painting, but I’m not sure how to. Also, I gave up prematurely so excuse the lack of detail haha. Any tips and advice would be appreciated!
