Hyper focus on ferritin

I am so so so confused, and I feel the same!!! We’re all absolutely struggling, so please don’t anyone think I’m saying one thing is worse than another, but because I have an EXTREME condition that causes severe inflammation, my ferritin is always “good” (currently 95 (range in Australia of 30-200)), but my IRON is a 7 (range in Australia of 9-30), and my transferrin is 2.4 (range in Australia of 2-3.6) and my iron saturation is 12 (range in Australia of 15-50). I feel like HE!!!!!!!!!! I was due to get an iron infusion, which I have every single year roughly, because it’s the only thing that ever gives me back my personality, my joy, my energy, my love of life, and my appetite. I feel completely lost and broken and physically like heck in a handbasket, down to loss of weight that’s extreme, no appetite etc etc without it. However, because I have just moved to a different doctors surgery, my new GP was GREAT, and had no problem offering me that infusion, when I went in, he couldn’t find my veins no matter what he did, because they are already so frail and tiny and roll and are scarred. This led me to be referred to our stupid local hospital, where you need to be DYING before they’ll accept you. So I wasn’t accepted, my doctor kept trying, and they finally told him to test me again, and I’m assuming because his office told me today that the results didn’t need to be followed up on, that they won’t try to repeat my yearly infusion because of what the hospital have told him, and how stupid they’ve made him feel. This all to say, I found somewhere that were happy to cannulate me with an ultrasound machine, but I am worried now he won’t do it for me because the hospital have turned him off believing I’m someone who qualifies for an infusion. What do you al think? Please can you help me??? I’m so sorry to piggyback off this post, but they relate very closely, so I’m hoping someone can help me with what to say to my GP tomorrow please? 🌷🌷🌷❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
