Allegedly, Lorraine's male roommate was sleeping with the suspect's gf before Lorraine's death. Would the Esprit article lead the police to Lorraine's apartment? Lorraine was dead, so would suspicion shift to the male roommate?
this might explain the inclusion of the Esprit article in the crime
