Housing association issues with dogs
Good morning.
I'm looking for a bit of advice with regards to my housing association and my neighbours dog.
I've been renting from them for 20 years now its a small blockof one bed flats with a tight communal entrance and hallway hidden behind a fence.
A few years ago they moved a new tenant into the flat above. In general he's a bit of a idiot. For example it took eight months to get a leak fixed going from his kitchen to mine because he wouldn't let the plumber in.
Last week he got a dog. its absolutely huge some kind of bully/bulldog. I've seen him "walking" it from my window he has no control over it. I an petrified of going out my front door as the way the communal area is situated I wont see the dog until its already on top of me.
I spoke to the housing association about this and despite it saying on their website you can only have a dog if it has its own outside space they where quite clear they aren't interested. Unless its a xlbully in which case I should call the police.
I want to have the correct response to them but I am unsure how to proceed from here. I am scared to come in and out the communal door.
Thanks in advance sorry about the length.
