I still miss him

Put my childhood dog down 7 months ago now. Sometimes I still hope I’ll see him on his spot of the couch but he’s never there. The grief still feels so fresh. It’s so hard to imagine my big boy ground up to tiny pieces in a box and a necklace. I just want my baby back I just want one more day
