Mid-20s delimma.

Not a rant, but something I feel every day.

I always wonder if comparison is the thief of joy, but I honestly feel it's the reflection of life how people living in the same world have evolved with time, yet you're at the same phase, struggling with the same issues. Someone your age is achieving what you always write by the end of every year: Yes, this will happen this year, yet it never happens. Sometimes I think it's not about comparison, but about time it's the killer of joy. I know for sure that when I achieve something I want, I won't feel anything about it because at that moment, it won't hold the same emotional value. That's why young age matters a lot; it provides you with a weird sort of adrenaline rush and emotional security that fades away with time, plus the stress of everything that circulates in your orbit. I think mid-20s are a really tough age; they cloud your entire being with weird thoughts.
