Dental assisting hours

Hello everyone, can I on a US B1/B2 visa assist someone in their dental office? If yes, how do I find that opportunity? Where do I look out for them? I’m guessing I won’t be paid for the work due to my visa status but that’s okay as long as I’m getting a certificate saying I volunteered in assisting them.
