Anyone here who switched from a MacBook to an iPad for school?

Are there people who chose to switch their MacBook for an iPad? I mainly use my MacBook for school, so I mostly use Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook. I don’t need to do any programming or anything like that. I mostly have to write reports for school, and I also use e-books for some subjects.

Has anyone done this, and what are the pros and cons?
