Aditya --, when I chose this college, I didn’t know most of the downsides. As i was the first batch of 2024 , The online hype, glossy promotions, and the “international IIT campus” label looked very appealing at the time. I assumed the facilities, campus life, and opportunities would be similar to the main IITs in India.

I made my decision based on that glamour and the excitement of studying abroad — but I genuinely wasn’t aware of how small the campus actually is, how limited the student community is, no fests, no college life, no futuristic innovations at all, most importantly even the professors are confused about placements in the campus...the almost non-existent alumni network, and how early-stage everything still feels.

Now that I’m here, I can clearly see the reality is very different from what I imagined. If I had known all these things beforehand, I would have thought much more carefully.

, i wish someone told me this earlier, but I was the first batch here so , there was no one to guide, Now Im just worried that I get a job, even there is no startup and unicorn culture here...,

Did u read my above comment,? I already told that this year I have applied for BITs pilani(goa) , because I just don't want to waste all of it, just for glamour..
