LBS admit - Can I leave my job now?

I’m an international student and have been admitted to LBS for my MBA and was wondering if it’s now safe for me to leave my job.

I’ll only get my CAS and student visa interview slots around April/May.

Does being employed or not have any bearing on the Visa application process or is there any other downside?
