Create clothes with a living mold ecosystem on it.

Hellooo,

I'm a fashion designer and I'm currently doing a research for a project involving growing mold on clothes and accessories. I saw a couple posts about growing mold on paintings by infusing it in the paint and I was wondering if it was possible to do the same thing but as a wearable sculpture.

This being said I was wondering if anyone could help me by giving me advice on a couple questions.

1. If I use a synthetic fabric as a base, would it be degraded by the mold?

2. Would it be dangerous / not recommended to bring it inside a closed space? (classroom)

3. Would it be dangerous / not recommended to work on this project in my apartment (kinda small place but really ventilated?

4. Do you have any recommendations about safety or any advice on the realization project/suggestions that comes to your mind?
