Auckland trip

Kia ora Auckland. Hope I can get some insight for a 5 day trip to Auckland in January. I am staying in Auckland Central and already have a day trip to Waitomo caves and Hobbiton booked on the 14th jan. I arrive on the 12th, leave on the 17th. I'm trying to think of what to do on the other days. I'm considering the All Blacks experience on one of the days, but not sure of what else to do. I really want to do some cultural experience. I work as a teacher at a school with a lot of Maori pasifika students, and want to learn more about where they come from and the culture. I'm not after a fully packed schedule, but at least want to do some experiences whilst there.

Would also love suggestions for food (halal preferably please). Nga Mihi!
