I just lost my first ever dog

She was an 8 year old rescue dog that I got when she was around 2 months old after her brothers died Things started going bad last saturday, she was eating very little so I took her to the vet on monday, she got antibiotics to fight with a spleen infection but every day she was getting worse, today she didn't even want to drink water, at around 2 am she just went to the bathroom where she usually lays down when gets scared from fireworks and started breathing heavy for an hour until she started convulsing and then she just stopped breathing I tried to give her the best life I could, I tried to give her a good diet, she didn't like kibble so I was always buying a variety of meat and chicken, daily walks to the park, she wasn't very friendly with other dogs but she loved smelling everything around there and the occasional splash in the puddles Goodbye Laika
