[Creality Combo CFS] Filament retracts immediately when reaching the black coupler/hub. Is this a wiring issue?
Hi everyone,
I recently bought the new Creality Hi Combo with the CFS. I'm having trouble getting the filament to load properly and I'm confused about the setup (especially the wiring).
The CFS starts feeding the filament through the PTFE tube correctly. However, the moment it reaches the small black connector/coupler where the tubes join (at the back of the printer), the system stops and immediately retracts/pulls the filament back.
It seems like it hits that point and "bounces" back. I suspect I might have connected the cables incorrectly, and the sensor in that hub isn't being read, or maybe I'm missing a step.
- Has anyone seen this behavior where the filament gets rejected at the coupler?
- Does anyone have a diagram of the correct wiring for the CFS to the printer?
I want to make sure my connections are right before I assume the unit is defective.
Thanks in advance!
