Is it bad if I have a preference

Some people just get offended if I'm not into them too. I have a type and if I inform them of it, they act as if I'm asking for way too much. Basically I like people who are well mannered, well spoken and well dressed. Have healthy physique and healthy mental health. LIKE ISN'T THIS NORMAL TO ASK FOR?
