Vocalist starting emo/post-hardcore project – looking for committed members

Hey everyone,

My name’s Will. I’m moving to the Las Vegas area and I’m starting a band called Dead Youth Romance.

Genre / vibe:

Emo, post-hardcore, metalcore influence

Think emotional, melodic, heavy when it needs to be — not gimmicky.

I’m a vocalist/frontman. I’m currently building my voice the right way (vocal training + coaching to avoid damage) and I’ve already written lyrics and song concepts. The goal is to form a real band, not a casual jam project.

Looking for:

• Guitarist(s) (lead or rhythm)
• Bassist
• Drummer (Backing vocals are a plus but not required)

Goals:

• Write original music
• Play local shows
• Build a following
• Tour and push toward festivals over time

I’m realistic about growth, but I’m also fully committed. I’m done putting music off and want people who are serious, communicative, and willing to grind.
