Mark 10:25 “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God" Clarified

A comment I left on a discussion that happened earlier about why the Rich are unlikely to enter the Kingdom which might help some of you

Heaven and salvation are only available to people who can become One with God, and live from God like Jesus did instead of living from their own selves. Unless one dies to their self and to their sins this is impossible. Unless one denies themselves fully and hates their family like he did they are not worthy of being a disciple of Christ.  God cannot live in a man who is full of themselves, whose selfhood is fully closed off to God.

Blessed are the poor in Spirit. Blessed are the meek! What do those mean? Blessed are those who do not think of themselves as much, because they can be filled with the Holy Spirit.  When someone is full of themselves and thinks of themselves as something and lives from their limited egoic self, this leaves no place for God to fill them, how could it, how could God fill you if you love yourself more than God?

For what is Love ? Love is the identification of other as self.  God Loves all because all are part of Him, Jesus Loves all because he takes all to be part of him, which is why he says that when you didn't feed the poor you did not feed him, because they are him, for he Loves them all.  You too are called to be like this, to be perfect like your heavenly Father. To be Perfect, and One with Jesus and the Father as they are One. He explicitly says this. You are to love everyone as part of yourself and to deny your egoic sinful self fully, otherwise you are not worthy to be his disciples and you are not his disciples for you still love yourselves more than him and God.

What about the rich? If you have understood what Love is and why someone needs to be poor in Spirit this should be clear. The rich possess more and think of themselves as more, their spirits are anything but poor in this sense, and the possibility of them being filled is unlikely, for how could one be filled if they are full of themselves? This is why it is harder for a rich man to enter the Kingdom, for they love themselves too much to be able to love anyone else, let alone God, for if you love God truly, you love All.

When one is one with God like Jesus, their Love extends to all, so naturally, cumulating wealth for themselves is no longer something they do, given that they do not view themselves as being much more important than others as they love them. For what Father keeps the best for themselves and leaves their children hungry and naked? A Good Father loves their Child. God and Jesus love everyone, so they give as much as they can afford also. You too are called to do this if you are to be One with Him also, and when you are One with him, you Will, as your will and the Will of the Father will be One.
