Surgery #3..

Well, I had full body scans, as it turns out, the cancer spread further in my neck and they are recommending a third surgery to do a neck dissection to remove lymph nodes. I feel downtrodden. I was told I'll do radiation and be done with it, but after my care team got together, they decided a third surgery and then RAI look like the route to go. I am so tired. I have been "on this journey" since August of last year. So many tests, scans, blood work, surgeries and now another one. I was told by a nurse "this was the cancer to have". I hope she stubs a toe. The only "good" thing is I am excited to eat normal and be on meds for a bit again. I did the LID and medication withdrawal process just to need another surgery and have to do it all over again anyways. Just coming here to vent. 😔 I am so tired.
