Lupron side effects

Im 46 years old. My oncologist suggested that I do ADT. I was given a 6 month Lupron shot. I've just finished my first month of hormone therapy. I've only experienced hot flashes so far. I've heard terrible things about it's side effects. Is everyone's experience with Lupron bad? What should I expect in the upcoming months?
