Wiitar Not Registering/Poor Connection

It first started when I was playing World Tour on the RPCS3 Emulator a month or two back. I was messing around with the settings on the emulator and it just randomly stopped working.

Initally, I thought It was the emulator but i'm wrong. Searched the web and no luck unfortunately.

Recently, I've played a song on Clone Hero with my Wiitar. The connection was on and off but after messing around (tbh not sure what I did) it worked. Few days later, I charted a song for my own enjoyment and ready to play but it stopped working again.

I was thinking it's the wires but I refuse to believe that.

If someone has an idea or any questions about this issue, please do let me know. If you could point me towards the right direction that would be great.

TL;DR - Used Wiitar, poor connection (couldn't strum and such) for a short period then magically worked just fine, days later same issue, not sure problem
