Thinking of giving E33 a chance after seeing how big of a deal it seemingly is, but I have a few questions/concerns

So pretty much all I know about this game is 2 minutes of gameplay I saw of the combat, and something along the lines of "for those who come after" which I just know is a meme or something, but that's about it. I don't want to look stuff up as I'm afraid that in case I end up playing it I'll accidentally spoil something for myself.

I don't dislike turn-based combat necessarily, like I absolutely loved BG3 and that game has been a blast. But in that game you can move around, use environment and stuff, but the stand-still type of combat isn't something I'm a big fan of.

Other thing that really discourages me is that it's a JRPG, and I try to stay away from weeb stuff, as most of the times I just find the blatantly overdone personalities and anime writing quite cringe. How much does E33 suffer from that?

Also, is there exploration in this game, or is it mainly just combat intervened with cutscenes and maybe some choices?
