Anxious about attending UMKC next month

Hey everyone, I will be attending University of Missouri-Kansas City next month as an international graduate student. I would like to connect with students at UMKC or anywhere at Kansas city and get to know the place. Im very anxious about coming to the US and would appreciate some help and advice on how to start my journey and find a place to stay and what not.
