Monarchist or Communist Germany?

I want to Play a Game with my friend (he plays as carlist Spain and wants to core France) and I initially wanted to play Austria-Hungary but Germany was terrible regardless of the way it went (historic= I got clapped, monarchist= French communist civil war so no cores for my friend, democratic= everyone was guaranteed and a superfaction was founded, communist= super comintern) so now I play as Germany. Which Ideology should I go in terms of easyness and fun? (Sorry for any spelling mistakes, I'm German and don't speak English very well)
