Looking for an affordable US/EU forwarding service

I’m based in Italy and I’m trying to buy a couple of limited edition books from US shops that currently don’t offer international shipping. I’m looking into package forwarding services but I’m honestly struggling to figure out which one is actually affordable. Most shipping calculators show something like $20–35, but from what I’ve read online especially from people who’ve used Stackry, MyUS, or Forward2Me the price often jumps to double that once the package reaches the warehouse. I really don’t want to end up paying $70+ just to ship a couple of books.

If anyone has real experience shipping small parcels from the US to Europe, I’d really appreciate any recommendations! Thank you!
