Lapis - can she learn axe or lance after losing all emblems in chapter 11?

Didn’t read the spoilers, lost all my emblems and lost the chance to teach some characters additional weapon proficiencies. Can they still learn lance or axe in time for me to reclass them as “Hero” and other double-weapon classes?

Or will that be too late and I should reconsider their classes and just go with their defaults?
