Just watched F1 (2025) — surprisingly sits in the Ford v Ferrari tier for me

I'M SUGGESTING

Just watched F1, and it genuinely surprised me.

Brad Pitt’s performance is restrained and confident — nothing flashy, but very believable. He carries the role with a calm, experienced presence that fits the world of top-level motorsport really well.

The racing sequences are intense and immersive. The sound design and camera work make the action feel grounded and authentic rather than over-stylized, which I really appreciated.

I couldn’t help but compare it to Ford v Ferrari. While the themes are different, F1 gave me a similar level of satisfaction in terms of realism and overall filmmaking quality. It feels like it belongs in the same tier, even if it’s telling a different kind of story.

For context, I haven’t watched Rush yet, so I’m not including it in the comparison — but F1 easily stands out as one of the better motorsport films I’ve seen
