Malayalees wishing to to see BJP as an alternative to LDF-UDF need to learn to become unapologetic

Every time a BJP candidate wins an election in Kerala, people start asking - what will he/she do differently this time ?

On the other hand we have Wayanad - which only elects Congress - elected Rahul Gandhi back to back twice. Nobody asks what has he done for them - It's the Congress fort since decades.

Then we have Malappuram - which only elects IUML. And everyone is fine with the status quo - all is sunshine and roses. It's the green fort since decades.

Then we have Kannur - which only elects Communist party. And the romance associated with Lal Salam to CPM Urukku Kota (iron fort) is taken as granted. It's the red iron fort since decades

But behold if Gopi Ji wins as MP from Thrissur - you have a line of people demanding accountability. Thrissur should not become a saffron fort. Meanwhile, what have other 19 MPs done or what even their names are - who cares ?

Next in Line is R. Sreelekha, if she becomes the Mayor of Thiruvananthapuram - all the telescopes would be directed at her.

Here's the deal breaker : Malayalees who wish to see BJP coming into power in Kerala must be an unapologetic BJP party supporter. No matter who does what - your vote goes only to BJP.

Others have put it into practice, which is why you have a Green Fort, Red Fort, Congress fort.

You have not - which is why you don't have a Saffron fort yet in Kerala 🙂
