Should i play the metro games

I am planning to finish metro 2033 redux and metro last light in around 20hours (total time in a week) I am not much into fps games but if it has a good story then no problem. Will the time be enough to play both the games ? Should I know something before playing them ? Are there any other games i should try, I was thinking of starting Max payne 3 and dishonoured
