ATK F1 V2U Ultimate - my thoughts
Quick thoughts on this mouse (from someone who’s tried way too many mice)
I’ve gone through a lot of mice over the years: GPX, Viper V3 Pro, Pulsar Xlite CL, Lamzu Paro Aurora, Incott 029 Pro, Scyrox V8, MCHOSE A9, VXE R1 Pro Max, etc. So yeah… I was curious.
The shape gets a lot of praise (often compared to the Hitscan Hyperlight), so I decided to try it.
Sensor – the dealbreaker (for me)
This is where things went downhill. I saw mixed opinions: “sensor is low but fine” vs “basically centered.”
In my experience? It matters. A lot.
I’m Immortal 2 in Valorant (~top 1.2%), and after switching, my aim felt weirdly unstable. Like “who is aiming for me?” unstable. In FPS games, the low sensor position was very noticeable and negatively affected my consistency.
Worth noting: no issues in non-FPS games (LoL felt totally fine). So if you’re not a shooter player, you might not care at all.
Clicks: FE Opticals - feels good, crisp and satisfying. Not mushy, not stiff — actually very nice (I prefer these over Incott 029 Pro)
Shape: very safe. Hard to hate, fits most hands/grips
Skates: fine, nothing special. Paro Aurora skates still clear
Coating: meh. Slightly metallic feel, weaker than rubberized coatings. Sweaty hands won’t love it, but it’s usable (7/10).
Final thoughts
I thought this review would be useful for anyone considering this mouse, and I hope it helps at least a little.
If your main games are FPS shooters like Valorant, I can’t really recommend it, specifically because of the sensor position — you will likely feel it as a downgrade compared to mice with a centered sensor. Use EloShapes and compare before buying.
However, if you’re already used to a similar low sensor position, then this mouse is honestly very solid and could be a great choice.
