Why do you think Heated Rivalry and BLs in general do so well?

I’ve been wondering why this show has garnered so many fans within weeks of its release, gays and straights alike, all tuned in. Is it for the sex? Or the storyline? It’s not hockey that bit I’m sure of 😂 So what was it for you that hooked you in? And if you’re a BL fan what do you love about them?
