Hit in a wreck around Florence and trying to figure out what to do next

Questions

A few weeks ago I was driving near Florence and got rear ended at a light. Didn’t feel terrible right away, but a day later my neck and back were killing me and I had to go get checked out. Now the medical bills are showing up and the other insurance company has been dragging things out like it’s no big deal. I didn’t plan on calling a lawyer at first because I figured insurance would handle it, but that hasn’t really been the case. After a lot of back and forth and getting nowhere, I talked with The Solomon Law Group since they handle injury cases here in South Carolina. They actually explained how the process works and what I should expect, which helped way more than the insurance adjuster ever did. I’m still dealing with everything, but at least I’m not guessing anymore. I’m curious how other people in Florence have handled situations like this. Did you try to manage it yourself or get local legal help early on? Just trying to hear real experiences from people around here.
