[Event] The Triple Wedding

Event

Lord Jayden had certainly spared no expense to make Cider Hall look dazzling for the occasion.

The castle stood like a jewel adorned above the river, its pale stone walls transformed for the occasion into a symbol of unity and abundance. From a distance, the towers were crowned with banners fluttering in the wind, blending the colors of the honored houses: the green and red of the Fossoway, the sun-kissed sandy hues of the Uller, the burgundy of the Redwyne, and the understated gold of the Costayne. It was a testament to the fact that this wedding was not a single alliance, but three intertwined vows.

The path leading up to the main gate was lined with torches and arches of evergreen branches decorated with slices of dried apples, bunches of grapes, and silk ribbons. As evening fell, the flames reflected in the river, creating a warm glow that enveloped the castle in a blazing celebration.

The battlements were draped with garlands, and between each tower hung glass lanterns that would be lit at nightfall, marking the start of the evening festivities.

The inner courtyard felt alive with the echo of music escaping from the high windows and balconies decorated with light fabrics and flowers. On the main tower, a large banner dominated the ensemble: a ceremonial standard where the symbols of the four houses appeared intertwined, an unmistakable sign that this triple wedding was both an act of love and a declaration.

And on the interior walls, ceremonial tapestries had been dusted off and hung; scenes of harvests, grape harvests, and feasts, clear symbols of prosperity and peace.

Such a celebration hadn't been seen since the feast of 289 for Sellene's name day and the arrival of 290. But Sellene didn't mind that her birthday was somewhat overshadowed by the wedding; on the contrary, she was very happy for her cousin Derrick and looking forward to her own wedding day.

All in all, everything was ready for a grand celebration...
