Nigerians… stand the F up PLEASE

Recently saw a post about dangote’s donation being propaganda and watched everyone flock to defend him. We will NEVER be gifted out of poverty by billionaires like Dangote, any donation from him is a single kobo in comparison to the wealth he has extracted from the lives and deaths of Nigerians. And we kneel in gratitude that its been gifted back to us in the form of a donation… STAND UP.

The concept of Nigeria having decent governance seems to have been abandoned, trust me i understand why but we simply cannot allow that to become an unchangable truth in the minds of our people. That is when we have admitted defeat.

The Core Problem in nigeria that it has extractive institutions, institutions to take away wealth and resources putting them into the hands of the powerful and those abroad and this is

power is concentrated in a small elite(people like dangote) while ordinary citizens have no protection of our rights and no accountability from leaders and the wealthy who benefit from the way things are.

But PLEASE believe me when i say this can change, and this change will never come from elites willingly.

The bare minimum needed for this change to happen is for us to be able to smell bullshit they are selling us rather than lapping it up like hungry dogs and understanding we deserve more because the moment we accept their power and corruption as an unchangeable truth and their stupid donations as true gifts and kindness it will be over for us.
