Feel bad for my family/medication forever?

Came home from my appointment and my family always ask “How did you go? What did he say? Can you come off/lower your medication?”

I feel like they’re a bit flat each time they see me take my medication and that kinda grows each time.

To save the disappointment, I just have the outlook that I’ll be on them for life which I know isn’t great but I prefer having that outlook then having false hope?
