I 26 m is friends/coworkers with 18f. Looking for outside perspective.
I’m 26M and friends/coworkers with an 18F who started a couple months ago. We get along well and joke around like I do with other coworkers.
We recently started playing PC games together after work. I have no romantic intentions and don’t want the friendship to go beyond that because of the age gap.
We usually hang out in groups, but recently had one casual 1-on-1 hangout (getting gas and looking at Christmas lights after she said she was bored). It wasn’t framed as a date.
She’s mentioned having past trauma and trust issues and says she trusts me. I want to be a good friend without crossing boundaries or creating emotional dependence.
Is this appropriate, and are there boundaries I should be more careful about?
