Receiving foreign money in south African bank account

How much foreign funds can I receive in a South African personal bank account (standard bank)? I’ve tried to research but I’m not quite sure whether the information I found is correct. I don’t want my account to be frozen lol. My friend wants to send me money to help me buy a car.
