To all on r/SpotifyPlaylists, hope you guys are well and having a great weekend. 🙂

I've made a nostalgic 1980's mixed Playlist. It's the prequel to the Balearic Beat mixed I shared last week.

It drifts between synth pop, Italo disco, rock, hip-hop, electro and early house. I've also included TV and film themes like Crockett's Theme, Eye of the Tiger, Power of Love and both Baywatch opening themes. Even themes from the arcade driving game, Outrun, are in there.

Hopefully, this mix will take you back to an era of perms, big shoulder pads, double breasted suits, watching Miami Vice and putting endless coins in Outrun in an attempt to finish it.

Here it is: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1TBMZFOKshY8qmUz8jAisP?si=dIeCI2X1StSKVxcZvRlaCA

Tracks by New Order, Duran Duran, Afrika Bambaataa, Yazoo, Peter Gabriel, Grand Master Flash, Hiroshi Kawaguchi/Outrun, Peter Cetera, Alphaville, Wang Chung, Steve Winwood, Luther Vandross, Chris Rea, Tears for Fears, Coldcut, Deniece Williams, The Clash, ABC, Johnny Hates Jazz, Mantronix, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Chip E, 808 State, Armando, Adonis and many more.

The blends are 8 and 16 bars despite 50 BPM variance over the mix. I've put some effort into flow and transitions so I hope you guys are r/SpotifyPlaylists like it. 🙂
