India wide scholarship/edu. loan portal dysfunction, government sites are an abject failure

Students are softlocked out of availing education loans because they just have make unnecessary websites with no promise of maintenance. So the national government website for scholarship precursor to actually availing the education loans (Vidyalaxmi portal) cannot recognise the PAN cards they are supposed to be verifying, that to only the guardians PAN. Very fixable, very much a softlock for the entire country's people trying to avail an education loan, very much a priority in any nation consisting more than like 3 people.

When I called up the support I had the honor of sitting dumbest+ most blood boiling convo of my life. The person on the other end asked me for how long have I been having this issue, idk maybe ever since have been trying to apply!?!? She insisted so said 2 days (5 actually, I just lied), she said they've been getting complaints for the past two days and she has referred it to their senior staff (whatever that means) and it should be fixed in 3 working days. Out of curiosity I asked when has the matter reached their desk, and whether if there were any tech staff on the clock for "minor" issues like these. To both the questions I basically got a "NO."
