Very confused

25, M, no past clots. Need some clarity.

Went to ER three days ago because of the weakness in right arm and leg. Smoked 8-9 cigs per day at that time and suffered from heavy stress/anxiety every day. BP was 145/80, but lowered it quickly to 120ish levels by using meds (Intuniv) for 2 days.

Got cleared up due to normal heart rate and a "normal" BP, also due to not having issues with picking up objects.

However, 2 days ago i started feeling occasional pain in the lower shin of my left leg while walking or stretching it, close to ankles. No swelling, no blue skin, no red marks. Just mildly throbbing pain. That combined with limb weakness seemed like textbook PE to me, given that i have a family history of both major and minor clots.

Got a d-dimer test which showed a score of 0.19

While initially relieved, i simotaneously felt like it's a false negative and that the clot potentially developed too far for it to be active.

Anyone had a similiar experience?
